The National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) is a national level exam conducted by CBSE for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in India. The NEET examination is conducted in two phases. The first phase is the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) and the second phase is the actual examination.

The CAP process starts with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declaring the eligibility criteria for appearing in NEET, followed by a list of medical colleges that are eligible to participate in CAP. This list will be available on the official website of CBSE- cbseresults.nic.in typically from December onwards.
