Fabric computing is a process through which a set of computing nodes and links are connected in such a way that they resemble a fabric when viewed collectively. Fabric computing is a high-performance computing system that consists of connected storage, networking and parallel processing functions interlinked with each other through high-bandwidth connections. Fabric computing is also known as unified computing and related to unified fabric, data center fabric, grid computing and unified data centers.
