Dofollow Link is a hyperlink that is able to tell all search engines to pass along it's page rank influence to an outbound link, and help to increase the website on search engine result pages.

Nofollow Link is exactly the opposite. It is a hyperlink that removes the ability to pass on it's page rank status to other sites. It's not pass link juice.

A no follow link is a link that does not count as a point in the page’s favor, does not boost PageRank, and doesn’t help a page’s placement in the SERPs.

<a href=”http://www.website.com/” rel=”nofollow”>Link Text</a>

Dofollow links are an HTML attribute that is used to allow search bots to follow the links. If a webmaster is link to your site with dofollow link, search engine bots and people can follow you.

Strictly speaking, a dofollow link isn't a thing. Dofollow is simply the default state for a link. Said another way, any link without the nofollow attribute is a dofollow link. When another website links to yours with a standard (aka dofollow) link, it can directly affect search engine rankings.

Carefully talking, a dofollow interface isn't a thing. Dofollow is basically the default state for a connection. Said another way, any connection without the nofollow quality is a dofollow interface. At the point when another site connects to yours with a norm (otherwise known as dofollow) interface, it can straightforwardly influence web crawler rankings.

The only technical difference between the two is that a no follow link has a no follow tag. As a user, it's impossible to tell the difference between a no follow and do follow link. In fact, according to Google, no follow links don't pass any Page Rank. Google does not transfer Page Rank or anchor text across these links.
