In Internet marketing, CTR stands for click-through rate: a metric that measures the number of clicks advertisers receive on their ads per number of impressions.

Achieving a high click-through rate is essential to your PPC success, because it directly affects both your Quality Score and how much you pay every time someone clicks your search ad.

clicks ÷ impressions = CTR

Click-through rate is the ratio of users who click on a specific link to the number of total users who view a page, email, or advertisement.

A CTR is a percentage obtained by dividing the number of users who clicked on an ad on a web page by the number of times the ad was delivered (impressions).
