DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP), formerly called Google Dart, is an advertisement software as a service application run by Google. It can be used as an ad server but it also provides a variety of features for managing the sales process of online ads using a publisher's dedicated sales team.

DFP is a service by google and it helps to show ads in different places of a website with the same code. If you are using DFP then you won’t need to place your ad codes everywhere on your website. Just place the google code and post your ad code on DFP and it will show everywhere on your website.
