What is KEI ?

Recommended Posts

Keyword Effectiveness Index (KEI) a.k.a. the Keyword Difficuty (KD) can be calculated manually using search operators, tables and lots of persistence, or it can be done much quicker with tools.

You should use Google search operators like allinurl, allintitle and allintext with your researched keyword and look how many results are there for your keyword

KEI (keyword effectiveness index) is one of the quickest ways to find keywords that show potential - that is, those keywords which are likely to help your site attract more traffic. It looks like this: It's a scaled metric, so you'll never see a KEI of more than 100.

KEI stand for Keyword Effectiveness Index, which measures how effective a keyword, is for your web site. It compares the number of search for a keyword with the number of search results to identify which keywords are the most effective for your campaign.
