Google analytics tool is the best free tool that helps to analyze your website visitors. Inserting the Google analytics code into the webpage source helps Google to track the website traffic and provide various information about the traffic behavior in the analytics tool. It also provides information about the bounce rate of your website.

That's right @RHCalvin. Besides that it is a very useful tool to find out where your traffic is coming from, find out your best pages that get most of the traffic, etc

It's also a mandatory tool for SEO and I use it almost everyday to tweak my sites in order to rank and convert better.

Common uses of Google Analytics include, but are certainly not limited to:

  • learning where visitors came from (for that session)
  • understanding the volume and trend of visitors coming from various search engines, through paid and unpaid means
  • identifying the technology profiles of web site visitors: what browsers are visitors using? what are the common screen resolutions? (etc)
  • tracking eCommerce trends, including cart completion, daily revenue, and more
  • seeing what content on a site is most popular, and most engaging to site visitors
  • exploring where in the world visitors to the site live, from country by country popularity down to the city level

Google analytics is the best tool which is provided by Google free of cost. It helps to analyse our website. In it we can check real time audience information like at that point of time which pages are read from our website and form where and also you can see geographically. We can check so many things in it. It helps to identify website visitors also. In simple words, we can analyse our website in it.

Main uses of Google Analytics are :

  1. FREE to use; you don’t have to pay any (monthly) fees for using this product. This way you can invest a decent budget in resources, instead of only/mainly in tools.
  2. Relatively easy basic setup; a basic implementation is easy compared to tools from many other vendors. However, in order to fully benefit from all the features of Google Analytics, deeper knowledge is required.
  3. Documentation available on almost every aspect; on both the implementation as well as the configuration part thorough documentation is available. This Google Analytics Tracking code library is a great start.
  4. Powerful customizable reports; create your own reports with an easy drag and drop interface. Add many different dimensions and metrics in one report.

If you’ve done any research on tracking data on your website, you’ve probably heard about Google Analytics. But what exactly does Google Analytics do?

Google Analytics is a free website analytics service offered by Google that gives you insights into how users find and use your website. With Google Analytics, you can track ROI for your online marketing.

You can sift & sort your visitors with dozens of dimensions. You can seamlessly integrate Google Products like your Ads account & Search Console. You can also use tracking codes to tag & track any advertising, social, PR campaign or any kind of campaign on any platform/website.

All you have to do is install a small amount of “tracking code” on each page of your website.
